Becoming a dad is challenging enough as it is. What shouldn't be challenging is finding reliable information and the best products for your growing family.

Over the last few months in preparing to be a first time dad, one thing became very clear: parenting advice and product reviews are not targeted at dads. It's nearly impossible to find good information on preparing for a new baby and caring for your spouse and yourself during this time.

The goal of Dad Gear is to provide insight into fatherhood, simplify the baby product search, and at times provide more self indulgent product reviews to ensure you don't default to the tall sock and fanny pack type dad.
